Cape Maclear is at the southern end of Lake Malawi, famed for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and popularity as a holiday destination. This golden strip of beach is considered part of the Lake Malawi National Park, and is surrounded by mountainous islands and coastline.

We’d definitely recommended visiting the park while enjoying your Cape Maclear accommodation. Around four hours from Malawi’s capital city, Lilongwe, and from Blantyre, it’s a must visit for those looking for a Lake Malawi holiday.

Guests can choose from a variety of different dishes, including a full English, eggs on toast, french toast, or even gluten-free pancakes (just to name a few!).

We also have fantastic filtered coffee and cappuccino available so we suggest enjoying your morning brew on our sun deck, looking out over the beach and the clear waters of Lake Malawi.
