We are an eco-friendly hostel nestled in the middle of a banana plantation with a river running down our farm. Enjoy fantastic holidays with your loved ones at our farm and get an insight into the authentic local way of life and the Tanzanian traditions.

Our eco cabins and rooms are simple and the perfect choice for relaxing days, enjoying the silence of nature and much comfort.

Already in the morning after you wake up we spoil you with farm products, such as eggs and fresh milk, jams and homemade pancakes, sweet potatoes, samosas, fruits, served with either fresh tea/ fresh coffee from the farm.

We offer rooms on bed & breakfast and also half board/ full board basis. Rooms range from single, double, triple, quad and family rooms.

During your stay at Banana Farm you are surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. In the immediate environs you can find wonderful nature walks in the farm and the river, hiking routes to the waterfalls, bike routes, as well as many possibilities for other adventures like village walks and volunteer activities.

The farm is located in the immediate vicinity of one of Tanzania’s most beautiful mountains and animal-rich wildlife territories, including renowned safari-destinations such as the Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara,Tarangire ,Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Park.
