Simoonga Guest House – Stay, Connect & Make a Difference
Welcome to Simoonga Guest House, a welcoming community-based accommodation located in Simoonga Village, near Livingstone and the world-famous Victoria Falls in Zambia.

Our guest house offers visitors more than just a place to stay. It provides an opportunity to experience authentic Zambian village life, connect with the local community, explore Victoria Falls and surrounding attractions, and make a positive difference through volunteering.

Guests can choose to spend their time relaxing at the guest house, discovering the beauty and culture of the Livingstone area, or joining our community volunteering programme at Simoonga Thandizani Trust School, a charitable school supporting vulnerable and underprivileged children.

🌍 School Volunteering Experience
Volunteers are warmly welcomed at Simoonga Thandizani Trust School, where they can contribute their skills, time and ideas while experiencing everyday community life. Depending on their interests and abilities, volunteers may assist with:

Teaching and supporting pupils in the classroom
English conversation and educational activities
Sports, games and creative activities
Gardening and environmental projects
Helping with the school feeding programme
Supporting teachers and school activities
Sharing cultural experiences with children and the local community
No two days are exactly the same. Volunteers have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and teachers while learning about education and village life in Zambia.

🦁 Explore Victoria Falls & Zambia
Simoonga Guest House is also a great base for exploring the Livingstone area. Guests can experience Victoria Falls, enjoy village and cultural tours, take part in wildlife and safari experiences, visit the Zambezi River, and discover the natural beauty and culture of Zambia and neighbouring Botswana.
