Tusoleke Trust School is a preschool in the small Zambian village of Muke, 20 km from Livingstone.

The school is entirely self funded and we rely on donations mostly but we also have a wonderful campsite which is suitable for both tents and vehicles. We also offer village tours for a small fee.

The Zambezi is about 250m away and it is possible to organise traditional boat rides on our mukuru ~ a small traditional boat made from a hollowed out tree trunk. They are used by the villagers primarily for fishing.

The other attraction that we can offer is an overnight trip to Bovu Island. A tiny island in the middle of the Zambezi. You will be dropped into your own secluded bit of paradise. The campsite is a sandy clearing in the woods where you can make your own fire and cook if you please. Sit on the shores of the Zambezi and look across into Zimbabwe. Listen to the sound of hippos and just bask in the tranquility afforded to you. It is a special place.
